How Stimuli Helps

Let's take the first steps to mastering your ADHD

We know how difficult getting help is for people with ADHD.

Getting help for ADHD can be really difficult - there are a lot of barriers to care like location and cost.

It is difficult to make sense of information online. Many people make claims about ADHD - it can be hard to know which claims are founded in science.

With Stimuli, you will overcome these challenges.
We offer:

  • Science-based sessions from real clinicians that cost only $2 each
  • An accessible, flexibility ADHD-friendly delivery system
  • A supportive, online community

Frequently Asked Questions

If you have any more - feel free to email hello@joinstimuli.com

Do I get to keep my audios?

Yes. Once you receive your audios for the first time, you can continue to access them forever.

How much do you cost?

Stimuli currently costs £19.99 per month. This is roughly 1/10 of the price of therapy.
We want to help as many people as possible - if price is a significant barrier to you reach out to hello@joinstimuli.com to enquire about our affordability schemes.

Do you cancel my subscription for me if I don’t log in?

Yes. It can be hard for people with ADHD to remember to cancel their subscriptions and keep track of finances.
Stimuli will automatically pause your subscription if you do not engage for 30 days. If you come back, your subscription will resume.

Do I need a diagnosis?

Because of the healthcare barriers many people experience, you do not need a formal diagnosis to use Stimuli. However, we always recommend that you seek one because self-diagnosis is not always accurate or as helpful as professional support.

Can I listen to all my audio sessions in one go?

Your audio sessions are not accessible ‘in bulk’, although once you receive them for the first time you can go back and listen to them all later.
This is for a few reasons:
1. Research shows information is better integrated in small amounts over time.
2. We want to support you in building a daily habit of self-improvement and reflection.
3. It is impossible to make real change overnight - engaging over a longer period is necessary for best results

Is it suitable for people under 18?

Unfortunately, Stimuli is not designed for people under the age of 18.
Our content is targeted to adults and is not optimised for the unique problems that children and adolescents with ADHD experience.
Additionally, there are complex laws around supporting vulnerable persons with their mental health (like children), that we are not currently equipped to navigate.
If you are aged 16+, and you think Stimuli may be helpful to you, your parent or guardian can reach out to hello@joinstimuli.com to see if an exception can be made.

Is it the same as actual therapy?

Stimuli isn’t the same as therapy the same way an online workout guide is not the same as seeing a personal trainer regularly.
Just because a workout guide isn’t the same as a personal trainer does not mean that it isn’t helpful or beneficial to people who are trying to learn to improve their fitness.
This concept is called: ‘professionally guided self-help’. Although many workout guides online are good, the best ones are likely to be created by qualified professionals like sports scientists.
Those professionals use science, research, real evidence and experience to give you sound advice. Stimuli is exactly that: qualified professional support and advice for ADHD.
